What Is StepFarm (GFT)?

StepFarm (GFT) is the first M2E — Move to Earn — dedicated decentralized exchange. It is an AMM that allows a market to be created for a given pair of tokens using a smart contract. It is used for swapping BEP20 tokens on the BNB chain, such as the STEPN tokens GMT and GST.

Users who add liquidity to the pools become liquidity providers and get some LP tokens. LP tokens can be staked to earn rewards.

GFT (Green Farm Token) is the governance token of StepFarm.

They have extensive experience in smart contract architecture, and they love bringing centralized financials systems to DeFi. The team has a long-term vision for StepFarm and want to get the community involved without make any fake promise. That’s why they announce new features only when they are ready for beta testing.


What makes StepFarm unique?

StepFarm lets users swap their BEP20 tokens, especially M2E tokens, without using any Centralized Exchange. When using StepFarm their transactions come directly from their wallet — users don’t need to trust anyone, just to trust the smartcontract, Code is Law.

StepFarm takes a 0.2% trading fees in order to reward liquidity providers as well as the community.

The DEX needs liquidity providers and market makers to add liquidity to the pools to allow users to swap their tokens without too much slippage. If there is not enough liquidity for the tokens the user wants to swap, it will be much more expensive, if not impossible.

A liquidity provider that wants to get rewarded will use Yield farming to stake their LP tokens. In return he will get some GFT tokens as a reward according to the farm multiplier.
