By and by, I don't care to enter an exchange when the previous bar shut the other way of my exchange. I ordinarily hold on to enter until after a bar has shut in the direction of my exchange before I enter. It's an energy thing. So the standard is: The light/bar Immediately before the Entry Candle is known as the Set-up Candle/Bar. The Set-up Candle/Bar more likely than not shut in a similar direction as the exchange signal. For long exchanges, the Set-up Candle/Bar must have a higher close than the open. For short exchanges, the Set-up Candle/Bar must have a lower close than the open.
